Partnerships

ASFLORA has a number of partnerships:

SOS VIDA

SOS Vida is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the recovery of drug addicts. ASFLORA has helped is plant vegetables for the own food provision as well as for the commercialization of the exceeding produce. This is an ongoing activity. 

Municipality of Breves

MUNICIPALITY OF BREVES and ASFLORA signed a cooperation agreement via which several environmental education-related events have been organized in association with the Agriculture and Environment Municipal Secretariat.

Salesiana Technical School

SALESIANA TECHNICAL SCHOOL is also an official partner of ASFLORA via a technical cooperation agreement which will allow for activities within the Education, Art and Work Program as means to introduce the environmental dimension to youth education by recycling wood processing residues. For 2003 it is expected the arrival of a junior volunteer specialized in recycling of wood processing residues.

JICA

JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) through its volunteer program has brought to Bel�m Senior Volunteer Mr. Tsukaji Toshihiro specialized in recovery of degraded areas and who is currently working in Garraf�o do Norte Municipality involved in ASFLORA's environmental education project.

Sectam

The Par� State Environment, Science and Technology Secretariat - has lended its expert support through its Environmental Education Division which has provided materials and information contributing for ASFLORA's projects.
